  • Blizzard Warning!

Any other Mid-Atlantic CSers bracing for the blizzard? In my neck of the woods there's a Blizzard Warning from 10PM Friday to 10PM Saturday with 20-30 inches of snow expected and wind gusts of 35mph. Joy!
I question my sanity every day. Sometimes it answers.

I live in Pennsylvania & we're to get over 18 inches of snow! It's going to snow all Friday night & all day Saturday.
Today Sam's Club looked like Black friday cause it was packed with people! It was wall-to-wall people before 10 this morning & that hasn't happened since December!

I don't know what we're supposed to get. My coworker said we're on the line between 4-ish inches and up to 18 inches (though he was referring to the town we work in which is slightly south and west of where I live)...hasn't started yet but according to my dad it is snowing in a town less than an hour south of me.

I now rely off the Almanac.

Hate to say it, but the almanac is calling for yet another major snowstorm to pound the midwest during the second week of February.

You can forget about Spring for now.
        That from 1-30-2010

Well I dont mean to toot my horn but the Almanac DID say that the midwest and, especially the east, were gonna get their asses kicked with a ton of snow.

Mid-February is supposed to be the worst of it. They aren't far off. Don't mess with the Almanac!

I didn't prepare enough. We have lots of food, but I only had a six pack of beer and I'm already halfway through with it.

I have at least half a bottle of Black 'Buca, so I should be good.

The Almanac said it was supposed to be cold here in Minnesota during this time. Today, it was practically summer... It's like 30 degrees now. Tomorrow won't be as warm, but it'll still be pretty warm. Just saying...

Still snowing like crazy. There's at least 2 feet of snow on the ground right now and it's supposed to keep snowing for the rest of the day....

I can see not getting enough beer for a snowstorm, but on Super Bowl Weekend?

I'm just across the river from Severen13 (Hi. ) I estimate at least 2 feet in the yard, and another 5-9" predicted. It's coming down heavy and fast, and the temperature is dropping, 2 degrees in the past hour.

I have to go out in it every 3-4 hours and dig out a place for the dogs to go.

I'm very glad I got my snow blower fixed after the December storm (16.4").

I can only smuggle in so much. I live on a dry campus. Plus I figured I'd just get some more before Sunday's party.

3-4 foot snowdrifts on the sidewalks outside my apartment building. Yeehaw.
