We didn't get much at all down here in my part of NC. Just a couple of inches on top of what was left over from last weekend (we got around 6 inches last Friday night/Saturday)
By the time I left work yesterday at 6 p.m., the roads were slushy wet and it was just rain coming down. Temps were just above freezing by a degree or two, so our roads weren't as treacherous as we were anticipating.
Down side is we have one side of our yard and part of our back yard that has turned into one big mud bog. Try attempting to get a 300 lb electric wheelchair down the ramp only to have it spinning in soggy wet mud at the bottom of the ramp? Mom opted to leave the chair on the front porch and just go in the back door (we have two steps with heavy duty wooden rails on our back deck.)
And the weather forecasters are talking about another system that could come through here on Tuesday.

I still don't know how I got the car over the foot or so of snow already in the driveway...but I do know that it's not going anywhere. After an hour shoveling, I had to quit. My back was killing me, and I had nowhere else to put snow. Didn't matter really, even if I could have moved the car, the street is still slick, and nothing was open.
