  • Awww...shut up.

Stopped in Starbucks on my way to work yesterday morning, and the guy who makes the drinks most mornings (I don't even have to say a word when he and the woman who usually works the shift with him are on) was fixing my drink and we were chatting...he mentioned "tomorrow [so, today] is my birthday...I feel old.....I'll be 25."

    Awwwww....

    Shut up.

I'll be 35 this year, so, yeah, shut up.

I think I had a birthday last year... or was it the year before that?

45 this year. I still have trouble believing I've been around that long.

When the younger members of the gaming club ask me how old I am, I tell them I'm old enough to remember when nothing was...

"When I was your age, there was nothing where that building was, nothing over there, nothing over there, this whole lot was nothing..."

            I'm 40.

Since when did 25 become old? I'm 24, does that mean I'll have to join a retirement home in a few months? 25 is nothing these days.
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

i'm gonna be 23 this fall...and my dad keeps bugging me to go to college before i'm too old. why are people so obsessed with age? as long as you're old enough to buy booze, age doesn't really matter (as i keep trying to tell my mum, who turned 60 this year)

Seriously. This guy looks like he could be in high school, too.

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.

Yeah, I'll be 31 in July.

When I turned 25 I had a few "I'm old!" moments. It was mostly me realizing that I had grown up, gotten past the college years phase, and was supposed to be a real, productive adult. Before that I just felt like a kid.

                            I'm all of 26 now.

I've had those since entering postgrad. Some things are still fun in small quantities, some things I've grown out of and embraced other stuff instead. I think it's just a realization of priorities changing rather than being old.

Oh I don't need to be in retirement for that

I mean... I'm a real adult officer. Honest.
