It's from a piece of art I did a few years back.

Small enough that nobody would be able to figure out who I am just based on that, though. I like my posting anonymity.
Heh, I always thought it looked like the fish from The Cat in the Hat.

My avatar is one of the cats I've had, Miss Alex, looking up at me as I took the picture with a flash. I liked how her eyes turned into huge silver coins from the flash.

My pic was just a lousy pic of me. I sent to dear friend, and she kept begging me to post it. I also get people here confused when I talk about my eye size. Now they can see it at least somewhat through my avatar.

It's Courtney Crumrin from the comic series, a crop of the cover of Courtney Crumin and the Night Things.

Ted Naifeh is a local here in the Bay Area, really friendly and nice, and shows up to a lot of conventions. I like that the comics are set here and I just love Courtney and her stories. As you can tell from the picture, Courtney has a lot of attitude.

                      Radioactive Man from The Simpsons.

Why? Where I work, they process radioactive products.

Mine was originally an Icon that I blew up in Photoshop and smoothed out the now-rough edges, and added glasses to make it look similar to most board's icon.

I made it after using the cool icon in my signature on one board, and someone commented that it fit me. So I kept it up ever since, as long as the board in question had it.

Mine's a visual pun, explained by my title (plum loco = unusually painted engine; plumb loco = nuts). I don't know where I found the original image, but it's this engine in its former green-and-gold paint scheme. I just played with the RGB settings a bit.
Now the trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed.

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson making a goofy face. Thought it suited my username perfectly.

That, and I'm a huge Maiden fan.
