I want to work in a bookstore. A used bookstore, or an independent one, with cats, there have to be bookstore cats.
That's my answer, too.
Unseen but seeing oh dear, now they're masquerading as sane-KiaKat There isn't enough interpretive dance in the workplace these days-Irv 3rd shift needs love, too

Barring that, I would love to have a bookstore. And every time somebody came in with the, "I'm looking for a book...I don't know if it's fiction or nonfiction, but it's blue and has a picture of a man on it," I'll go to my handy-dandy Pez dispenser filled with Valium.

Or editing novels, I think I could be good at that.
There is a book store in CT that is a used bookstore with a herd of cats roaming about. It rather cool, though I've only been once.
My dream job would have me in the woods...either enviormental studies or trail maintenance. Hmm....and it would HAVE to be in the White Mountains of NH.

Ok, this talk of animals in stores reminded me of my actual perfect job. Yarn store! I just want someone to do the business side. I'm more than willing to be a pusher. And knit display pieces. And play with restock the yarn. Oh, and I'll test new products too. No objection to that.
I want to own a hotel. Not just any hotel, a theme/boutique hotel. I have three of them planned so far;
1st one has fine dining; meals three times a day, plus a tea time at 4pm.
2nd one has a game room with arcades, game systems, huge tvs and a movie theater.
3rd one has a night club on the very top floor (the floor below it would be dedicated to empty space so it muffles the sound from the rest of the rooms).
My only problem is finding dedicated and reliable coworkers!
I used to want to be a baker since I'm good at it. But when I finally got the chance to do it I hated it. I think it was because it wasn't a real bakery so much as a "pull from freezer, bake and serve" kinda place. It was okay, just not for me.

Working with police dogs in some fashion, I would LOVE that. I'm not terribly picky how as long as I could.
Knock yourself out, mrDrone knows a lady he went to high school with that is now a corpse dog handler.
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.
Scriptwriter for a series I love, with good actors and directors.
I want to write fiction, I just can't handle the 'fame' side of things. I don't want to be recognised, or have people want to talk to me because of who they think I am, or suchlike. I'm too damn shy.
Let the lead actors have that problem. I'll just sit in the corner and write my stories.
Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

Hm, so far it looks like hotel, with attached bookstore, coffeehouse and small artists colony. With its own weather nut =)
