I'm not sure about the vein thing, my coworker said they always used the same vein for him because it was the only one they could really get to "pop" out and get blood from without causing him major pain.

I'm still a little nervous too because I got really lucky that day at the clinic and had a real pro doing my blood draw. There are some people who really have no business shoving needles in people's arms, and I am somewhat scared I'll deal with one one day

I did the one vein thing for all of my sitcks. any other vein would not bleed properly or I would pass out from the pain so one vein it was. the downside is that I have a large "stick" scar in the bend of my right elbow.

YES it defineately helps if you have a pro needle "pusher" makes the experience a little better.
