My mother and stepfather are both in their seventies (74 and 78, respectively). If you want, email me, and I'll pass it on, see if they're interested. They are certainly not in a rest home or assisted living, as they are still both kicking ass and taking names, but they are retired, so have some amount of free time on their hands. Not a lot though....they always find things to keep them occupied. And between the two of them, they have seen and done a lot, especially Stepdad.
