Although, I have a question. Do I wear the ring all the time? Do I take it off to shower or sleep? This is most expensive possession I have (besides my car) and I am terrified of doing something to it or losing it.
Take it off any time you're washing your hands. You seriously don't want to get soap stuck behind it. If you're going to be doing something dirty you might want to take it off too - it depends on how often you want to clean it. If you can sleep with the ring on without beating yourself up, and without the ring being uncomfortable on swollen fingers in the morning, there's no problem with keeping it on at night.

Like any ring, take it off if you're working with heavy machinery, or any time that you have higher risk of an accident. Not only is there a risk of the ring getting caught in the machinery (or elsewhere), but if you injure your hand, that ring needs to come off in the ER. And they're not going to pull it off over your finger. It gets cut off, or cracked off (tungsten carbide or other ceramics, and don't worry: they don't use a hammer).

Oh, and if it's gold or silver, take it off if you're doing rough work. Those are both soft metals and will scratch very easily. So not when you're playing in the sand.

I wear three rings (my wedding ring, his wedding ring and a yin yang ring) and the only time I take them off is for bath, showers and doing mucky stuff really, there is one other occasion I take them off but that's more a situational thing. I do have my engagement ring sat in front of the computer but it's broken unfortunately it would cost more then the ring is worth to repair so I keep as memory.

        Oh and MEGA congrats btw

I wear mine all the time...except when I shower or do anything with water so it doesn't slip and fall off.

I, personally, think it's up to you. I used to wear mine all the time, but now I seldom wear it, due to work and my fingers tend to swell.
