Straight ginger tea on a cold day. Not the kind with licorice (well, unless you like licorice, I guess...I do not...and it's hard to find straight ginger). But if you CAN find it, you can't beat a strong, hot ginger brew on a cold day.

I don't mind ginger tea, but only if it's not straight.Quoth RecoveringKinkoid View PostStraight ginger tea on a cold day. That stuff is way too strong for me, but I have a yummy ginger and peppermint tea. It's sweet, but still has a bit of that ginger kick. Wonderful with an upset stomach.
I want to try more Chai varieties too, but for some weird reason it makes me sleepy. I'm fine with anything else with caffeine, but Chai is like taking a sleeping pill. It smells delightful, however. My only regret is that I don't have a better word for "F@#k You".

Teeeaaaaaaaaa. I love tea. I'm quite partial to pretty much anything that's Yogi brand. Recently, thanks to a friend of mine who emptied out her tea drawer and gave me everything she didn't want, I've become addicted to their Classic India Spice Tea.
It's spicy and strong and yummy. And since it's caffeine free, I can drink it any darn time I want. XD
Yogi also makes a lot of really good herbal remedy teas. They have teas for treating colds, stomach aches, insomnia...even a few teas specifically made for women. Pretty much if it exists, they have a tea for it. Which is why I love them so much. :3
Twinings is good too. I love their Irish Breakfast. And their Jasmine Green. Few things are more beautiful than a good cup of jasmine tea. *is looking at the website for Twinings right now...and just might have to try their various types of chai*"Things that fail to kill me make me level up." ~ NateWantsToBattle, Training Hard (Counting Stars parody)

Yes, a Wall O' Tea. A whole 7-feet-high-and-5-feet-across shelf of nothing but tea. Every brand you could think of too. Celestial Seasonings, Tazo, Twinings, Yogi...I cannot set foot into Vitamin Cottage without looking through their tea selection to see if there's anything I might want to take home."Things that fail to kill me make me level up." ~ NateWantsToBattle, Training Hard (Counting Stars parody)

That is indeed a very sad story.
I myself am down to half a box of Irish Breakfast, about 5 bags of India Spice, and about a box of Bigelow Vanilla Chai. Plus all my boxes of Yogi Cold Season, Throat Comfort, and Breathe Deep.

Well, as I said upthread, I only really do iced tea (well, chilled, anyway) and none of the specialty teas (Earl Grey, Twinings, etc.) that I could get readily work very well chilled. They taste off to me.
And since I can't get Luzianne out here in CA, that leaves Lipton. Unless someone has a viable suggestion for a good black that works well chilled with a bit of sugar. The Case of the Missing Mandrake; A Jude Derry, Sorceress Sleuth Mystery Available on Amazon.

The tea snobs may hate me for saying this, but I think Lipton is perfectly acceptable for Southern-style iced tea. It also has the bonus of being affordable.
