Ok...Managed 1.25 miles running today, but pushed myself too hard (new running playlist, plus the weather was fantastic and I was short on time), so couldn't run the last 3/4 mile - I did the short loop today.
I'll go again on Friday, then again on Sunday. I really want to stick to every other day, and make sure I'm on a good schedule.
Now, to put together a schedule/menu for the next couple months. The holidays are coming up, and if I know my family, I better be fit *before* if I want to be fit *after*.
We're having a pizza lunch tomorrow at work....eeek!! Must only have once piece, muct be good!

Back on the bike after chum's calorific visit. Thirty minutes, 520 calories.
He tested it out as he's riding on a real bike quite a bit right now. He reckons the setting I have it on is equivalent to a gradual incline with a light wind against you. The setting below is a light wind against you. I suspect that means I'm doing relatively fine.
managed an early morning short bike ride this morning. 22 minutes, 319 calories. I've accepted a challenge to burn 3500 calories between yesterday(saturday) and this friday. This should prove interesting, or else it'll hurt me. A lot.
another bike ride this evening. Hauled ass to do the same circuit, trying to beat my earlier time. Managed it in 20 minutes this time, so not too shabby. and yet, still burned the same amount of calories. Weird.
ah well. I'm hoping to build up to doing a longer route on Saturday, instead of little spurts here and there. Here's hoping work doesn't call me in, and I can take the morning to do a long ride, get lots of calories burned.
It works out to 500 calories a day, and I think I can manage that. Burned 770 yesterday between two 20 minute bike rides and a brisk 15 minute walk during my lunch break at work. Think I'm going to follow through on that, break it up into shorter intervals over the day. It's how I plan to take care of myself. Think if I tried it all in one go everyday I'd give up after day 3 or 4!
Im going on a blitz for christmas, Im going to loose all the weight im going to GAIN over christmas now.... so that I can eat what I want. Thats the plan anyway.
Had a co-worker today comment that I was "wasting away"
I think it was meant more in a sarcastic way than anything else
