    • Ok. I broke all my PR's today!

Ran a full 2 miles, broke 9.5 min/mile on BOTH MILES!

      *bounces*

I've also started doing situps after my run. 15 centre, 10 on each side.

        • Went for a bike ride this evening, the weather is BEAUTIFUL lately. I went for longer than usual (Manage to average 20 minutes, normally), and tried a new part of the bike trails around my apartment. All I can say is Holy Incline, Batman!! Now I know what all those speeds and clicky bits on my bike are for, now...

30 minutes, 447 calories burned. whee!

          • I'm working on cutting down on my soda intake.

I'm planning on going from 1/day to 1/week. I did it when I was on WW last year so I should be able to do it again.
            I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

            • Bella, I did two things when I decided to cut down on sugar. One was switch to diet (it's not half bad once you get used to it), and the other was start drinking more coffee. If you don't like coffee, maybe tea instead? I found that having a cup of either coffee or tea nearby would curb the soda cravings. I still have one every couple days, but it's definitely made a huge difference.

Headed out for a run in a few, hopefully I've left myself enough time for a full loop rather than the recent half-loop I've been doing. I'd like to start the 3.6 miles back up, since I was just starting to really knock it out.

                • 3.35 miles, 39 minutes (per my running playlist), with two water breaks that I probably didn't need to take. The second mile was The Hill of Doom - managed it in 10:30, after a 9:53 first mile. Not sure what the third mile was, time-wise, but I think it was 9:58. I'm thrilled with the timing, I'm less thrilled with the lightheadedness and the wanting-to-pass-out-ness I had after the second mile.

I need to make sure I eat before the run, by at least a half hour.

                  • Weather was absolutely beautiful today! so much so, i didn't wait until later this afternoon, when the sun cooled a bit, but I went out on my bike, and just pedaled. Before I knew it, it was almost an hour later! Holy cow, are my legs feeling the burn. I even did most of the way on a higher resistance than normal! I'm quite proud of me!

45 miinutes, 604 calories. Woo hoo!

                    • Just recently got back into working out after my surgery and mandatory 2 weeks no lifting. Gah...can't believe I was so far as set back. This week's finishing up with 5 miles a day ran, 5 exercises a day on machines. Next week will be 6 and 6. I'm hoping that by doing this I can rapidly get back to where I was.

                      • Went over my calorie intake by only 3 calories. I actually drank the recommended amount of water today. That was a bit of a chore. And I only drank two sodas today. That's a huge achievement for me because I love soda.

Unfortunately, the reason I went over my calories is because instead of having an egg for breakfast, I had Oreos.

                        My bad.

                          • Had a definite over my cal-day....the boy and I drank quite a bit (now that I have cut back on drinking....this occasional binge is rather fun) and we ate so much pumpkin food.

Feeling a but guilty, as the scaled says I have gained 2.2 pounds.....but I can lose that this week (heading back to the gym)

                            • Honestly, Cat, unless it's showing a gain of more than 5lbs, I wouldn't worry. Especially if you've been drinking or eating salty foods, as that can cause some odd water retention issues the next day. I'd not be concerned if it's only a couple pounds here or there.

Don't forget, a woman's cycle can also have an effect on weight, to the tune of a couple pounds one way or the other. I'd say, look to stay within a 5lb range, rather than on an exact weight. And don't forget that since there's a daily change, focus on a weekly measurement, rather than a daily. That's one of the reasons I don't have a scale at all - I want to make sure I'm doing this to get myself back to a healthy point, not to a specific weight. But that's because of my own weight issues in the past, and my inclination to say "oh, just a couple more pounds, that's not a problem. Sure, I'll break 100, then work from there."

That resulted in me being a 5'2" athlete who weighed 98lbs at 17. Not something I recommend.

                              • Oh I know, Kia....I still look damn good I'm just addicted to numbers, lol. And I was actually happy to have a binge day.....it was so fun!! And pumpkin is healthy...so.....

I do have a good range where I am comfy...was just a funny shock to see that on the Wii fit
