I'd tell you not to let him get fresh with you, but... 1) you're a grown woman and 2) it doesn't seem like he would without your wanting it. I think it's amazing that so much trust is already present in all the relationships he's built with you and your family.

Ree, I know you and I don't agree on anything everything, and we don't always see eye to eye, but this news made me smile. REALLY smile.
I remember after Dad died and Mom started dating, some of the guys were iffy, one in particular was a pile of steaming dung that I despised from day one....and then she met my stepfather. In all the time they've been together, he and I have only had one serious disagreement. And they got together in 1986.
I hope this man brings you as much joy and happiness as my stepfather has brought my mother over the years. I don't think I could wish anything better for you than that.
