2010 Christmas Card Exchange-Tally up!!!

Cool beans. I thought we were at 64, so I got like 90 cards... LOL.

Im ready to go.

I think we had that many a couple of years back.

And yes, I've got plenty of cards to go out. Just need to order my address labels (which I'll order this week when I reorder my checks. Gonna try those this year instead of having writer's cramp writing out my return addy on every envelope) and print out the list as soon as it gets out into the email and I should be all set.

Fun part will be taking all those international cards to the PO . . . I just tell the clerks I have a large family and they're scattered all over the globe.

How does everyone sign their cards? With their real name? Or their forum name? Or both?

I sign with both, and also put my avatar on the return address label. Sorta makes it easy to see where it came from at the mailbox.

Just got all my cards yesterday - the local Wally World had 40 cards for $8. All the return addresses are printed and just waiting for the list.

ETA - the first couple of years I signed with my real name inside the card and people listed that on the card check ins we used to do on the thread. I had to message those people and ask them to change it to kiwi.

I've made my own cards, 60 of them printed waiting to go (I can print more if needed )

Just a friendly reminder, please do put your CS username somewhere on the card, so when we do the check-ins, we know who they came from!!

I like to see if I can figure out who it's from by the real name/location on the return address before I open the card.

The templates to use when printing these addresses are the Avery
8160 templates. In addition, Avery has a file template that can be
used to print out your own return address labels. Go to
http://www.avery.com/ and look for Avery 8160 in the software area.

Reminder: These addresses are private! Keep the PDF itself private

I received the email... but some of the addresses have black squares in them... does anyone else have the same problem? I'm just afraid that I'm missing part of the addresses. I've tried opening the file with both adobe reader 9.4 and also google docs, but with the same results.

I received the email as well. A couple black spots in addresses as well, I think it's just spacing. Missing one last name as well, can I send the mail without the last name and hope it still gets there?
