I went as a Lego brick ... I didn't do the drawings with the t-shirt on, so two of them were right over my chest.
Isn't that where you snap together?

I'm attempting a Silent Hill nurse's costume this year. Going to town today to see what I can find to pull it off.

If one of my nephews can remember, we're going to be Jay and Silent Bob.

I'm shorter, so guess which one I'll be?

(Although...if I work that day, no one would get it. *sigh*)

I've always been able to find fun, obscure, and cheap costumes for Halloween. Here are all my costumes over the last 3 years:

          2008:
          2009:
          2010:

my costume is a secret-only one that knows what it is or will be is plaidman-and he better not tell

I got permission from the actor that made the character famous to be the character as long as he gets pictures.....though I will post pics in the inevitable halloween thread....
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

One year I wore a graduation cap and gown...but I couldn't wear the hat most of the day because it was getting in my way (and it wouldn't stay on) so I put it on top of my register. For a while I carried around a road atlas..I was a Roads Scholar

Last time I dressed up for work I wore blue jeans with just a black t-shirt and a nametag that said "Hello my name is... Forever"

Older folks laughed. I had to explain that one to the younger crowd.

Ex (who was not ex at the time) was a cowboy and for a while I wore his hat...because I looked cute in it.

For the longest time I wanted to go as a TIE-Fighter pilot from Star Wars, but I never had the funds to afford an outfit. A few years back I went to a party as a nerd (yeah, I've heard the jokes already), while my then 29-yr-old girlfriend was still able to fit into her prom dress. So we went as beauty and the geek.

Maybe this year I'll put on some flesh-colored outfit and go as Adam (from Adam and Eve), but only with a huge, HUGE leaf that hangs to the floor...

                    More ideas from CS.com threads.

-The cat's pajamas (PJ's, Cat Ears, Tail)
-Cat Burglar (all in black, add some stuffed kitties somewhere)
                    Courtesy of Idrinkarum.

And an idea from AngeiicDemise: the cover of a book.

She was going to do Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

                    My ideas?

Do a zombie version of a character of your choice. Double points if you do a book cover OR a kid's classic.

I'm throwing around ideas with my boyfriend for a Halloween party-I'm going as either a Geisha girl or something out of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. He's still deciding: I suggested he go as an undead version of the Linux Penguin

I have been debating for some years as going as a Marx brother, either Harpo or Groucho, as all I'd need for those would be a nice beat up duster, some hobo clothes, and either a bike horn or a greasepaint stick... maybe a wig... one allows me to be entirely silent, just overacting all day, and the other lets me go insane with my rambly style of talking. However, I get the feeling SM will NOT allow costumes at the store... although, Sunday... so, he might not be there anyway...

Due to a very small budget, I am cheating and wearing my Belegarth garb for Halloween. I may spruce it up and make it creepy with some make-up, but we shall see.

Two years ago, I went as a pimp. Last year, I went as a Mexican bandito. I would REALLY like to go as a ninja, but most ninja costumes have a bunch of knee pads and random crap on them that I really don't like that much. Not sure what I'm going to do this year.

One costume I've been thinking of doing...I want to make a Southern Belle dress in blood red and black, add a tail, devil horns on a hat, and a pitchfork-tipped parasol and go as Hell's Belle.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Last year, my bf took his son out trick-or-treating and went as an Internet Stalker. He dressed up all in black (think a cat-burglar) he wore a headset plugged into a laptop and slunk around everywhere. People loved it.
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.

This year me and my lady have some options (cus she rocks!) she may be either fem-Kruger or fem-Jason (and thus id have to do the other costume ie Jason if shes Kruger but not fem..) or i can wear my chain suit and plate to work... I can just imagine walking into my work in full plate with chainmail under.
Crono: sounds like the machine update became a clusterf*ck..
pedersen: No. A clusterf*ck involves at least one pleasurable thing (the orgasm at the end).
