i'll probably be working this time, but i can still dress up

the past two years i've been a hippie. so im not doin that again

i though maybe a go-go lol with a blue wig, but nah

then maybe a ninja? i seem to always scare everyone at work b/c they never hear me walking up to them, and its a total accident 98% of the time

i'll probably go to Party City the week I'm on vacation to get ideas or even a costume

I hate to say it, but it seems blasphemous for him to be V and you not to be Evie. But then again she really didn't have a distinct look that would tell anyone who you were, without him standing right next to you as a big hint.

I'd go with the first one out of those, but I am a horrible judge for it, not being a fan of medieval garb.

Depending on your figure/athleticism, Elektra could be interesting. The two of you as a pair of sai-wielding heroes.
We couldn't think of suitable attire for Evey. It would either be the creepy pink dress outfit she wears when she's with the priest, or the little black dress she wears at the start of the film.

Elektra is out-I do not have the figure for thator any of the superhero costumes.

I almost considered going as a swordsmaster-that is, dress up in my old karate outfit (I'd need to unpick the club badge tho), get some new pants, add a hakama and either buy or rent a sword. With that one, if I added some white angel wings and wore a black wig, I could pass as Setsuna from Negima possibly.

You could shave your head to be Evie.

I made a cardboard stand-up of K-9 for the Doctor Who group. My friend has finished Khan's scarf and all I have left is to get his hat.

I did Little Red Riding Hood last year, may do a repeat.

My ultimate goal is the first Silk Spectre, but that will need to wait until I've lost more weight.

Check the local thrift stores; you might be happily surprised.

Maybe even carry a coiled rope and lasso over one shoulder. Oh, and don't forget a bandana!
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Here's two I am working on, as a sci fi convention is going on over Halloween weekend.

                    The first one- Skyscraper Goddess:
                    Here's the robe:
                    http://www.china-cart.com/a.asp?a=Ch...te+Set&d=15736
Since I didn't need the headpiece, they are selling me just the robes, with quite a discount off of the original price. (That crown by itself is waaay expensive)
I'm going to accessorize it with this wig:
                    http://www.cosplayfu.com/product/Whi...20cm%2CCF24%29
And sprinkle the wig with a few of these in gold:
                    http://www.luminence.com/FAQ6.html
I'll be building a skyscraper crown modelled after the spire of the Transamerica Pyramid, and putting some mini LED christmas lights inside, to make it glow.
I've also got a set of gold belly dancer's isis wings, which I can use as a cape.
Overall, the effect will be that of a modern Urban Goddess, or a Skyscraper incarnated in living form.

For the other costume contest at the con, I am doing Shaak Ti, the Togruta Jedi master. I am working on her costume now, just pinned up the hem of the cloak tonight. I also ordered some lightsaber parts, to refit an existing saber of mine, so that it's brighter and looks a little more like hers.

I can definately re-use the skyscraper costume parts- I have always wanted to cosplay as a female version of Sephiroth, from Final Fantasy: Advent's Children, and the wig is very close to his hairstyle. And those lovely white robes will look amazing as ritual garb.
