    "Hey You!" has actually both piddled and pooped in his litter box. He's eating solid food (granted, I have to show him where it is), he's drinking on his own (same deal), and he's excreting properly.

    Wonderful news!

    Your vet has checked him, he's eating and drinking and excreting normally - I'd say all is well with him.

    Now you get to decide whether to keep or surrender him if he isn't claimed.

          I love this story!!! I first read it something like 25 years ago, as a kid, in one of my dad's books. To this day I'm convinced that Leiber got it right and cats CAN teleport. I mean, it explains a lot, dontcha think?

            A friend of mine has two cats he calls the Furbearing Couchmonsters. The male is basically a baby panther, he's so big.

            Friend walks through kitchen to get something from fridge. Friend takes his drink into the living room, sees cats wrestling. Friend sits down at computer.

            TWO HOURS LATER

            Friend looks up, realizes he only sees one cat. Friend looks all over for the other cat, can't find him anywhere. Friend thinks "oh hell no" and goes into kitchen. Friend opens fridge.

            Cat is in fridge, curled up on the pork chops that were marinating for dinner.

            Fridge had not been opened since BEFORE he saw the cat playing.

            Friend concludes cat has developed teleportation abilities and freaks the fuck out.

            The rest of us giggle madly.

              i closed my 12 lb cat in the silverware drawer. How he fit in there.. I will never know. Took me forever to find him.

                          my cat? Yeah. He's used to my old desk which was huge. This one is about half the size so I have to move all my stuff so he can lay down. He has to lay by my mouse, he cant lay on top of the printer/scanner where theres plenty of room. No, he has to squeeze his fat ass in right there.

                            No, wait, that's the wrong form. The form you're thinking of is for filing a complaint about being unable to understand the form I'm filing. The one she gave to me is the application to file a complaint, and requires the form be filed in triplicate with four separate departments, but each department requires the original and won't accept copies.

                            Well, that much is easy. As of right now, he has a home. The only way the layout of the home changes is if there exists a rightful owner. I am looking, though I'll admit it's being harder and harder to avoid rationalizing not looking. I don't want to find any rightful owner at this point. I don't want him to leave.
