Do you have arnica cream or gel? That will help the bruises heal faster.

I dunno if you should or shouldn't put heat/cold on the bruises. I suppose it wouldn't hurt them. lol

Personally, I would go with heat on this front unless there's swelling. Ice for swelling. But heat feels better on bruises and tired muscles. It also increases blood flow, which may help you heal faster. IANAD, though.

I would send puppy kisses, but they get a bit carried away when making new friends.

Umm... i would alternate between hot and cold - yes heat can increase blood flow, but this can also make the bruising look a lot worse - my mom did that one time, had a bruise on her hip, and was using a heating pad, - she couldn't see the bruise only feel the tightness in the muscle, and when she finally went to the ER, the nurses were trying to accuse my dad of hitting my mom (NEVER HAPPEN!) so that is why i say alternate.
