New Kitties :)

So, as many know, I lost my dear best friend Kyo about half a year ago.

A couple months back we adopted a couple of kittens who were pretty much on Death Row at the local shelter. Big huge fiasco ensued afterwards (we were told they were spayed/neutered/had shots....they had NOTHING), along with several medical scares for them. (They were not taken care of, the male had an ear infection that nearly made him deaf, and his sister had a bad UTI)

Honestly, I never thought that I would ever love a kitty as much as I loved Kyo but....they've really become my new best friends. They're very, VERY affectionate...something I always kinda wished Kyo was, LOL. Victoria loves nothing more than to climb up and perch on my shoulders as I work, while Vincent will curl up my lap and purr like a motorboat.

But, anyways....without further ado, I present Victoria and Vincent~!

Oh yeah, that was another big thing. When we got them, their coats were very dull and rough. Their explanation was that they were feral kittens, found on the street, etc etc. We found out later they were dumped at the shelter because someone's cat had too many kittens. So the coats were dull from the lack of care.

Lots of love later, and they're doing so much better now. Really, I like shelters, they save so many animals....but it was almost cruelty what they had to have done to them.

Just about seven months old now. Cutest bro/sis couple ever....they're both in a pile on my desk at the moment, curled up with each other. I can't really tell what belongs to what cat, LOL.

Such sweet kitties! I've always wanted a pure black cat, I had one that had silver speckles once, but he was so sweet the people down the road stole him when they moved.
Please give them scritchies for me? It doesn't matter if it's belly, chin, or ear, whichever the kitties prefer.
