How about getting in contact with the silent film people's latest of kin?

Well, I got (though eBay) a Minette 8mm personal viewer /' editor. The person was local so I was able to pick it up.

I tried out the basics last night and it seems to work but I won't know for sure until the 8mm that I bid on eBay (not sure what's on it but it's labeled (with a label from the mid 90's) "2) Roy Rogers 1) Rin Tin Tin Shirley Temple" so maybe someone cut 3 films into 1?

There's also an 8mm copy of "The Hills of Kentucky" (one of the original Rin Tin Tin's films) on eBay for $50 - I'm debating on this one.
