Yes, we're getting 4 to 8 inches. I just thought we'd get light snow showers. And it's the wet, heavy stuff. I'm frustrated. It was all melted!! Glad I went grocery shopping last night, even if it was late. I do not want to do it in this.

I just looked at the weather map. That is one hell of a front. 40F on the north and 70F on the south. 30F temperature change in a matter if miles.

We got raised 4 to 8 inches. This is bullshit.

It keeps changing from rain to sleet to snow. And I have to drive in this. Great.

If y'all need somebody to blame for this mess, blame me.

We put up the tent and greenhouse for the garden center last week. It always seems to snow right after we do it. It's like we're summoning it.

If y'all need me, I'm going to step away from the computer for a few and go have a nice cold beer. On my balcony. Outside. In my lounge pants. Just my lounge pants.

            Oh, wait. It's 72 out. Perhaps I'll grab a t-shirt...

If it's any consolation, it snowed for almost a whole day over here a few days ago. Lightly and prettily, but still genuine, persistent snow.

But in general the thaw is really setting in now. You know this because the railway is delaying many trains due to frost-heave damage.

Last night we got freezing rain. Over night we got 6 inches of snow. That equals a very bad combination. Every school is closed in the area, and I'm sure I'll be working alone today.

They were calling for 10-16 inches of snow here yesterday and today. We got maybe 3 flakes.

I should not have went to work last night. All that rain and slush, plus all the northern snow.....it was horrible. I couldn't even stop myself from shedding a few frustrated tears because there were times I couldn't even see where I was going, and I had nothing to reference or help me (tail lights ahead of me, signs were all covered in snow). At times, I wasn't even hitting the gas or moving the wheel, and my tires were spinning and the back end of my car was trying to fishtail.

This morning I was stuck in my parking spot. I stayed at my parents' place for a couple hours in hopes that the city crews got out and plowed.

The whole way home, all that ice under the snow....cathunkthunkathunkathunkthunkthunk thunk.

This is by far, the worst winter driving weather I've ever been in.

And this late in the season.

FUCK YOU AND DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH, YOU MISERABLE FUCKING BITCH MOTHER NATURE!

At this rate, it'll be several weeks before we get back to the way things were going a week or two before this storm.

                        Happy Spring my fat ass.

When he's not doing his over the road trucking, he lives in Bonduel.

Where he was when he said what he said, I don't have a clue.

First, here's what my mommy wrote: snow, sleet, wind, lightning - going to bed and bury my head under the covers (with a flashlight in my hand) 5-8 tonight and 3-5 tomorrow - maybe stay buried til Thursday

The evil one responded with: That sounds terrible! I can relate, it got down to 75 last nite and I almost thought about starting the truck to warm up! But today is supposed to be better, 85
