I has Nook!

I was thinking of getting an e-reader, but I'm not sure which. Doesn't the back-lit screen of the Nook Color get hard to read after a while? I thought that was the reasoning behind the decision not to back-light the original Nook, and all the others.

I thought that might be an issue, so I never really looked into ereaders before (truth, unless I was given the pandigital, I wouldn't have gotten one, ha) But so far it hasn't been an issue. Though I am on the 'puter 8+ hr at work and more at home....my eyes are used to it.
