I finished "The Shattering" not too long ago. Good read, first book I really read since I was never into the lore until right before Cata hit.

Though, now I do want to go back and read all the other books... I wish I had more time to read.

Like I mentioned in another thread....the Nook will be my downfall with books Just started "Day of the Dragon," not bad so far...and will def snag "The Shattering"

And Admin...thanks for that link....I'll look it over I think they switched it .org, though

      Ack! They have.

I use wowpedia for lore and locations, and wowhead for item info and quest tips.

Next on my list is probably Arthas. I think it's the same author as The Shattering.

Well, be careful what you wish for... I thought we were beating quests too easily ( we leveled fast due to extra xp from refer a friend)

So what happens last night? We get slaughtered and corpse camped by a rather high level PvP! Bf claims I accidentally started it... I think he did. It was rather annoying, lol

And because I am a storyline freak... I used the last of mu B&N giftcard to get a book on my Nook. Looking forward to reading it....the author has written a few Drangonlance novels.

I wound up making a Dranai Mage on Alleria. My son yelled at me for that. He said Dranai aren't meant to be mages.
Since I decided to make this a more casual run (not into raiding), I don't care. LOL

I like casters. My first heavy duty character was a Belf Lock, so I got that covered already.

                  *snip* I like casters.
Draenei aren't meant to be mages? Why? I tried to start a Draenei mage, but I discovered that I really dislike casters. I've tried mage (twice) and I just don't like it. I also tried shaman, but keeping up with all the different totems is just a pain.

I've got two paladins, however, and I just got one of them to 85! It's a pretty easy class, I think. Fiance will be explaining an instance or a boss to me, and I'll just say, "So, basically, I just stand behind it and smash it until it dies like I always do, right?" "Right, just don't stand in the fire."

Never could get into playing a caster. Will probably give it a try some time though.

My son is 17, so therefore he knows all

He just likes to think he knows all there is to know about WoW.
I love it, I am enjoying playing, we just play differently.
I love casters. I have tried Palli and Hunter, don't like it.

I hate Rogue, get anxiety trying to sneak up on people LOL
I've tried Shaman, not bad, will probably try again.
I haven't really fully experienced playing a Priest, will put that on my to-do list.

Lord, I will send a PM.
                      Thank you.

I have had the WoW dreams. People have the exclamation points above their heads.

Cenarion Circle here. Been working on my orc warlock a lot lately. Though with Lunar festival coming this weekend, the 85 mage will be making the rounds.

I just did...kind of a weird quest yesterday on my day off in which _I_ was the quest-giver. My character sat on an undead horse with a big exclamation point over his head while NPC's came up to him.

The first contestant was some Forsaken who was jumping around like he'd just smoked a big bowl of crack and EVERYTHING HE SAID WAS IN ALL CAPS. The second one, an orc, was...well, let's just say that if he were a PC, the player would be role-playing a bit TOO hard. And the third contestant was a pretty pretty blood elf who said that if I didn't challenge him sufficiently, he would say bad things about me in the public forums.

I thought, "Well, that pretty much sums up my Eitrigg realm experience, right there..."

                            Love, Who?
(Of course, there was no WAY I could explain to my roommate why I was laughing so hard...)

Oh yes, I remember that quest very well :-)

I haven't really found Eitrigg hordeside to be particularly worse than any other server, except for local PVP. We always got a shellacking on things like WG since it's something like 4:1 alli.

Horde has more bigmouthed kids who just want a mean looking character, alli has more utterly clueless first timers and trade trolls. Pick your poison, really.

Eitrigg Hordeside is all right. Rolled a tough character, found a good guild, leveled quickly, bagged a bunch of achievements, and at least the other PC's can type.

Eitrigg Alliance, however...I think their mommies should take their computer privileges away. I was in Ironforge once when a bunch of idiots hijacked the /trade channel for an N-word joke competition. A night-elf in Hillsbrad called my character a "faggot" because he was wearing purple robes. I joined a guild that consisted of ten people trying to type with their noses. My usefulness to them ended when I loaned them the GP for the tabards and insignia - never heard from any of them again. I was involved in some of the nastiest duels ever. I got body-camped on my one and only foray into Battleground as a Hordie. Alliance Eitrigg terrifies me. I just don't do PVP anymore.
