I completely forgot about HiC Ecto Cooler! I love that stuff! And yes, sadly, there is no substitute. Maybe if we start a writing campaign, they'll bring it back? * hopeful look*

We were thinking that with the possibility of a new movie and all they would bring it back. In 2001 it was renamed to Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen but was axed for good (after a few name changes) in 2007.

The only explanation anyone's ever gotten from MinuteMaid is that it was "too similar" to another flavor (but Ecto-Cooler's main flavor was tangerine, not orange; there is a difference).

42, have you tried Coke Zero? It tastes just like Pepsi to me. Not Coke, but not Diet Coke either.

I wish Utz chips, especially crab chips, were available here in Texas. I buy them online occasionally but I'd love to buy just one bag at a time in the store. My mom buys them every time I go home.

things I remember and wished they brought back

          Crunchy cheese gordita

Nestle Wonder ball - I actually didn't remember those until someone on the first page mentioned them. I still remember the commercial

Crystal Pepsi - MUST COME BACK

Koolaid - The masses of flavors they had! where did they go?

Tang - Oh god my mom loved that stuff

          Sour Nerds - I can't find them!

          I loved the crispy M&Ms

          PB Crisps!

Is Cinnamin Toast Crunch still around?

I do remember the TMNT pies. But I remembered not liking them.

I vote for Jell-O Gelatin Pops and these cookies that Keebler used to make...sugar cookie sticks with sprinkles.

I probably have more but that is all I can think of at the moment.

MMMM I forgot about the jello pops. I've been trying to reproduce them with no real luck; I can't seem to get the jello to freeze "correctly".

Ranch Fritos. Ranch Bugles. Ranch Pringles. Just a few of my ranch cravings that I can't find anywhere.

I know for a fact Ranch Fritos were discontinued more than 10 years ago. I think the Ranch Bugles were, too. Ranch Pringles are still made, but they are not as good as they used to be. They've definitely changed the seasoning blend.

I just thought of another drink. It was called Voodoo Rain and they had some amazing flavors and all New Orleans's inspired. They were around in St. Louis for about a year when they slowly started to phase them out of the grocery stores. I was a very sad 12 year old.

I haven't tried the Garlic Potato variety, but that Rice Oriental was to die for. That one was out back when I was a teen (am I telling on myself now?)

There's a similar one that HH offers now, but I'm not sure if it's the very same one that I remember (I haven't bought any HH in quite a long time now.)

It's called Beef Fried Rice and you can find it under their Asian Helpers line of products.

O'Ryan's thick sliced Sour Cream & Onion Chip's.

Been years. Can still taste them. >.>

                            Thought of another one.

O'Grady's potato chips. They were the real thick ones. Yummmmmy.

Somebody mentioned a very sharp ginger ale. If you have Vernor's, that's probably similar. It's very sharp, a darker color, and not as sweet. I don't care for it, but some people love it.

Add my vote for the crispy M&Ms, and also, just to show my 90s kid-ness...SURGE! I miss that soda so badly! Also, I want some cheddar ranch Fritos flavor twists, damn it! Oh, and does anyone remember Sunny D Eclipse drinks? I miss the strawberry (I think) one!!

Re: HiC Ecto Cooler. I was told that mixing the blue and orange Hawaiian Punch in about equal parts tastes just like it. I never had Ecto Cooler so I can't vouch, but give it a try.
