This is a superb idea. I'll stop by my old fabric store tomorrow; I'm sure I can find something (would flannel be okay?).I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

IPF as an angsty grunge kid looks the same as IPF does now. Except he's wearing a flannel shirt and too-big jeans.Quoth JoitheArtist View PostLove both ideas! I'll get some plaid fabric later this week.
Also, I demand to see photos of IPF as an angsty grunge kid.

You will not being seeing those photos. Or the ones of Irv in Lederhosen. So there.
ETA: And socks and sandals. I bought my first pair of birks my senior year and wore them with socks all the time. What can I say--it was the 90s. This stuff was in fashion.

Jester doesn't think the guidebooks would work. I think they can. We don't have to be huge and splashy about it. They can be printed on ordinary color printers and hand-stapled, for one. It may be that, once the ball gets rolling, people will get interested and donate time or funds to make them more noticeable.

A website might be more feasible. One problem with guidebooks would be distribution. Where would you sell them? Most people going to a new place (who would need a guidebook) just get their information on the internet these days."Even arms dealers need groceries." ~ Ziva David, NCIS

Quoth Eireann View PostWell, then - website? With a prominent link to NF charities and suicide prevention? With all of our input, whenever we have time?
