
Seriously, last year at Pennsic, it was Bizarro World. It was hotter in the western Pennsylvania than it was in central South Carolina in late July. And at Pennsic, it was actually hotter in the dark, shady Swamp (where I camp) than it was on the Serenghetti (which is a flat, treeless, sunscorched plain)
The hell?
It's not even 120 here right now. It's only 98 (with a heat index of 104). Which is hot, but not out of line.
