I also like how Elise handled herself in the finale.
I like how the very last words Ramsay says to her after the credits are: "Just stop being such a bitch!" >.>

All the outtakes of Ramsay ragging on Tommy for his girlfriend's age were comedy gold though.

    • I am late to the party here, as the finale aired the Monday after the Friday I left for Arizona, and I just got back tonight. After watching the two Doctor Whos I missed, I watched the HK finale, with a good beer at my side. Okay, in my hand, but whatever.

THANK THE FOOD GODS that Elise did not get into the finale. Yeah, she can cook, but she has upped the "villain" category on reality shows to new levels. She is not only an evil bitch, she does exactly the same things she criticizes others for, such as screwing up, acting unprofessional, not listening, not talking, and crying her eyes out. Don't get me wrong, I respect passion, and I have sometimes sided with the "villains," but seriously, she was a backstabbing evil witch. Of all the chefs on the finale, there were 3 I would never hire in my restaurant: Jonathan, because he's an idiot, Elizabeth, because she's an airhead, and Elise, because I'd have to have no one else working in my kitchen.

Is she talented? Yes. But as many pro athletes have proven, it takes more than just talent. Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice practiced harder and expected (and got) more of their teammates than anyone. But how many Ryan Leafs and Jeff Georges were there, who were amazingly talented, but still spectacular failures?

Seriously, a random ICQ message from Australia once ended with one sleeping on my couch for a couple days in Canada.
Dude, that's on you, not the cosmos. You let the Aussie in and let them crash on your couch. Don't go blaming mysterious forced that may or may not be at work.

-Oh dear lord, I feel sorry for Elise's husband. Not to mention that woman actually spawned a child....
I don't. It seemed that they were a good match, and got along very well. Not everyone is all evil, and I have no doubt that she is a different person with her friends and her family than she is with what she perceives as potential competition. Is she a bitch? Sure. Lots of people think I'm an asshole. Doesn't mean I'm not, or that I'm not also a good guy. Same with Elise. I can't stand her, but all I know of her is what she does in a tv kitchen. Hubby seemed to have her back, and her son seemed like a good kid. Yes, I'm giving Elise props. Still wouldn't hire her, but her family seemed fine. (But yeah, I still want to see her and/or Carrie naked. They're hot.)

Tommy and his girlfriend....O.o she seriously did not look 19.
But Elise was right...she really was freakin' HOT. Seriously, bikini model Playmate type hot. I can't blame Tommie for not keeping his hands off of her. I wouldn't either.

      WTF is Serrano ham?
A lovely Spanish ham. I get a version of it for my ham sandwiches at home. I think it's awesome.

9 Seasons and Chef Scott still can't stop the bad acting when he does the quality control. (it's quite hilarious to watch though)
Yeah, he's awesome. "That's not mash. That's parsnip." "Oh, really?"

No, he can't act his way out of a ladle, but it's awesome the way he does it, basically telling the cheftestant that he knows they're right, but he just won't break character.

I love Chef Scott so much it's ridiculous. I always squeal like a fangirl whenever he shows up on Kitchen Nightmares...
I don't think I've ever seen him on Kitchen Nightmares. Hell, I think I saw JP once, but Chef Scott? On Nightmares? Do tell!

      • I think I remember him showing up once, but I can't recall which restaurant.

Yeah, Ramsay occasionally brings in some of his own staff to help a restaurant and chef Scott materialized a couple of times in season 2 and 3 I think.

Australia is a mysterious force. >.> Seriously though, when I worked day shifts I would be intercepted or cornered on the Skytrain by Aussies at least once a week in the summer. I do not know what it is about me that compells them to seek me out.

Once they didn't even talk, they just wordlessly penned me into a corner on the Skytrain -.-

I wonder if it's the vegemite, the billy tea, the damper, the sunburnt country, the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Great Barrier Reef, Sovereign Hill, Gold Coast or Uluru that gives us our mysterious force?

            Also, another mysterious force....

I guess that means GK needs to spread Vegemite through the hair, put toothpaste behind his ears or stick forks in his hair?
