Suspect if it works for you then do it. Depends on what's up with your knees.

Not sure. It's died down a little bit as I've been able to do the lunges with no problem. When I tried doing one of the Aerobics DVDs I own (this particular one had a medicine ball) my knees gave out partway during the toning routine and I had to stop because it really hurt to bend.

I suspect that it's because that particular workout was higher intensity.

If I do end up going back to a gym, I'm using the workout programs on VirtuaGym. There's three levels of workout: Morning (7-10 minutes), Home-no equipment (20 minutes) and Gym Workout (40 minutes or so).

The physio I saw also said the crosstrainer was ok for my knee... same complaint as Raps... I guess experts will always disagree about things

Fireheart: Maybe get your knees checked out to make sure those types of exercise are ok for you? After all, a lot of exercise equipment/classes have disclaimers that you should check with a doc if you experience any discomfort etc etc

I always had problems with aerobics etc, but wasn't til about 10 years ago I was diagnosed with HMS and told I had to keep things very low impact exercise wise.
      Arp happens!

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Fifteen minutes Monday, twenty-five today, both level 3 on tension. Been feeling a little off recently, hence the lack of udpates. Faster heart rate while resting was the main thing concerning me. More noticeably puffed when having climbed stairs. Seems to have abated - some sort of bug. Going to get back into it.

Need to stop eating so damned much, mind.
