My Fishie Thread!!!

OT: My mother put a baby guppy in a friend's clear glass of water once...

He thought everyone was enthralled by his story-telling, the way they'd gasp in anticipation every time he paused... and took a sip.

I got more fish today I got:
-female opaline gourami whom I named "jazz"; 1.5" long
-male blue gourami named "rocky"; 2" long
-a male leapord bushfish named "spike"; .8" long

Jazz is very outgoing so far, chillin with the danio and exploring everything. She buddied up with the curly and moe and played tag with them.

Rocky does not live up to his name. He's a shy guy...painfully shy. He sticks to the shadows and avoids the danio at all cost. Curly is curious of him and came over to check him out but rocky hid from him. Jazz is trying to get him to come out and play but he aint cooperating. Seriously, it's cute. Jaz will slowly inch over to rocky and nuzzle him then swim the other way and keep looking back like she's saying "cmon come play"! Rocky will swim over with her for a few seconds before zooming back to his corner.

Spike is a bit shy but I suspect it's because he isn't even an inch long and he's in a tank with 1-4" fish. He likes to hide in the log and the weeds with rocky. Those two seem to have buddied up. He may be a little scardy cat, but he has attitude too. Once, he swam out into the open water and swam in a circle like "I DID IT!" before zooming back into the log. I love lil' spike
