Meh, tonight has been lowered to just a dusting, when it changes.

The temp dropped 10 degrees in the hour and few minutes I was at the gym.

I really hate over-scheduling this time of year. You have to anticipate that it will be as bad as the weather folk say, so you have to time out every part of your day so you can be home before the roads get too bad or everyone else starts causing accidents.

Over a densely populated area, right next to a major Naval Air Station, 90 miles from Cuba?

    You're right...I would be surprised.
We gots to prevent forest fires.

Interagency Coordination Exercise, to ICE the jest.

You'd be surprised what can pass for a training exercise.

Well, considering that a squirrel's tail is *normally* the size of the rest of it...

Astonishingly, *still* no snow here. It's rained quite thoroughly a couple of times since I last posted, and there have been a couple of frosts, but the two haven't happened at the same time yet.

given where you (meaning us here in northern Cheeseheadland) live, why does this surpise you??????

but then according to the old wives tail about squirrel tails (meaning the bigger and fluffier they are the more harsh winter the more snow you get) I see squirrels with HUGE bushy tails in my area. EVERY FRIGGIN ONE OF THEM has a massive bottle brush sticking outta their backsides.
    A furry dildo?

Watched Fox 11's Patrick Powell's "In Depth" analysis yesterday after the game. Looking an awful lot like another 70+ inch (178cm) season in store. Yeehaw.

if memory serves this is one of the few years where there is NO snow on the ground yet in our neck of the woods on Thanksgiving
Except for that bit that melted. It's a weird year.

Good luck with that, considering Key West is the location of a major Navy Air Station, and is unlikely to get anything dropped anywhere on it by any branch of the U.S. military.

I'm so sick of this place.
Perhaps it's time for you to start considering relocation to somewhere other than there.

Just have to stop into this thread to make a quick note that it was in the 60s today. In Iowa. On Thanksgiving. Yeah. Not saying anything more for fear of jinxing the nice weather away!

It was in the 50s today, and will be tomorrow as well. Within mere degrees of record highs!

But, alas, all good things come to an end.

Another dumping is on its way, Saturday night.

Every year, it seems there's one specific day of the week that it without a doubt always snows on. Last year was Friday. The year before was Tuesday. This year will be Saturday, since we had a storm last Saturday.

Fucking great. I'm so sick of this place.

Oh, and I always love to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to see how miserable it is there from year to year. Today it was sunny and in the upper 30s so not too bad

73F here right now and mostly sunny.
