    Malefecent has style.
From what I'm aware of, they actually modelled the villain in Enchanted after her. They also had the extra challenge of trying to keep the look consistent between 2D animation, live-action and then the CGI for her dragon form, so they used some elements of Maleficient and combined that with her looking like a "runway lady".

It's also has some very good songs...except that none of them are villain songs.

Speaking of which, I have an awesome black cloth totebag (not a shopping bag,
but the kind that's more a huge oversize shoulder bag) with all the Disney villians on it.
I got it years ago at a Disney outlet shop in Florida. I always use that to carry stuff around when I go to any Disney park. I have been stopped by total strangers more times than I can remember on any & every trip. I've had inquiries, compliments, offers to buy it, and even (hopefully not serious) threats to steal it. One was amusing because my husband was carrying the bag, and the woman assured me she'd give my husband back when she took the bag, LOL. I've wondered sometimes if I could get by with having an illegal auction on Disney property - I could probably finance that trip, LOL.
But I wouldn't give my bag up, so it's a moot point, sigh.
I have the same one, as well as the villains mug. Villains are popular. I've got my picture with a fair number of them (Maleficent, Jafar, Prince John, Captain Hook, and an awesome one of my wife dressed as a pirate back-to-back with the Queen of Hearts) Hey, the villains even have their own store in Disney Hollywood Studios - Villains in Vogue.

C'mon. No one remembers Ratigan, from The Great Mouse Detective?

Vincent Price is always the BEST villain.

PS: He is also the BEST Saint (Simon Templar)

QFT . Though I don't have a favorite villain (they generally all are awesome)..anytime one is voiced by Vincent..they go a notch up in the rankings
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

My fav. Disney "villian" is Chernabog from Fantasia. (The devil on the mountain) Ever since I was a kid I've been in love with that scene. My other favs are Maleficent (of course!), Judge Frollo, Shan-yu, The Evil Queen, Lucifer (the cat in Cinderella), Si an Am, the MCP, and Monstro (I count him as a villian...he EATS THEM!). That whale was FREEEAAAKKKY as a kid! To be honest... Pinocchio is a scary ass movie!

AAH! I almost forgot (which is sad since I just finished watching the damn movie!) about Hades! Best drinking game villain EVER!

No love for Hades? "We dance we kiss we schmooze we go home happy whaddya say?" I just loved him and his fast-paced humour.

Hercules took Greek Myth and roasted it over lava, though it really is one of my favourite Disneys, and I have an A-Level in Classical Civilisation so I should hate it buuuuuuut I don't

But it was done so well you can actually forgive it.

I have the same problem with that movie. XD I *want* to hate it because of the inaccuracies and because it makes my inner mythology buff twitch, but...I cannot bring myself to do it.

I think it's my favourite Disney for humour. Hades is epicness - and I've just remembered he has a kind of villain song, kinda - and the Muses are great singy narrators.

*inches towards her music to listen to them*

It's a terrible mishmash of mythology but it's like throwing some of the most random Greek ingredients into a roasting tin and ending up with a great cake ^^

Scar, the hyenas and of course Zira.

For those who don't know; Zira was from Simba's Pride, and she was, if possible, even more evil than Scar. For proof, check out her villain song:

                        Youtube video here

                        Song lyrics here

The sound of Simba's dying gasp
His daughter squealing in my grasp
                        His lionesses' mournful cry
                        That's my lullaby
Oh, the battle may be bloody, but that kind of works for me

                        The melody of angry growls
                        A counterpoint of painful howls
A symphony of death, oh my!
                        That's my lullaby
Even Scar didn't go THAT far. O_o

As a kid nothing scared me more than the pink elephants from Dumbo. OK. I was a wussy kid.

I'm also very fond of Joanna the lizard sidekick from Rescuers Down Under. She doesn't have any lines or songs. But she stole every scene she was in.
