Well, I'm still blocked on mine...
But there is good news!
My Nano for last year, Star Force One: Origins, was based on a story my friend Allan Ironside wrote several years ago. He abandoned the story after a computer crash and a decision to focus his writing into other areas... and other RL concerns (going back to school, marriage, child raising) got in the way as well. I took his ideas, tweaked and expanded and made changes to them, and wrote my own take on the series.
Allan never got around to reading it (again, because he had other demands on his time), but he finally did this week. And he LOVED it. To the point where he wants to help contribute. Which I gladly took him up on.
So even though I probably won't beat 50k this year, I now have a collaborator again. And I am happy.
