In such cases, new car parts production is given highest priority; replacement/repair parts would be relegated to a secondary status. The older the vehicle in question, the lower the priority it is usually assigned.

Most of them are same years threw out the county with every manufacture, my passagener air bag was fixed before I even got the notice and that because I needed the oil change and they wont let it drive out with out the recall being fixed. My husbands is a 2014 and some replacement parts still are not made for it. The recall on it right now is a sensor that needs to be added and the icon added I guess I have no clue since its has all the bells and whistle's that we didn't need.
