So on the irratibility front if I decided not to keep up the visits for waxing, like I don't really keep up with them for my legs?
I might try the shaving after, the only thing I've ever shaved is underarm, legs have never seen a razor, and everybody who has waxed my legs looked at me as if I was weird when I said I first touched my legs at 18, and they've only seen wax since.

I've often wondered.... would it be easier to use a man's beard trimmer to neaten up that area? Even before finishing off shaving that area. I've not done it myself, but considering the hair is thick and sometimes as coarse as a beard, it should work just as well. Anyone try that?
Make a list of important things to do today.
At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
Now, you'll get at least one thing done today
I trim. Shaving drives me up the wall, because of the itchiness when it grows back. Haven't gotten a complaint yet.

One thing to keep in mind about a brizilian wax is yes, it hurts at the time, but it grows back thinner. If you keep up with the touch-up waxes, or sahving as it grow back it's not too bad.

that's why i use this with this blade. it's basically a beard trimmer, just water proof. and as i said earlier, i use the men's blade for shaping...why they don't have the same edger on the women's blade is beyond me.

I'm paranoid about waxing even my underarms or bikini line. Why? Because I BLEED when I try. So I've switched to shaving. I managed to kill my handle, so I bought an electric shaver (battery power) recently. I highly recommend it. I don't get the ingrown hairs that I got when I tried shaving with my razor, and it works better, except for my underarms where it doesn't work as well.
Be warned - it looks really odd, and I still have a hard time getting used to it. (I still don't care for it, which makes poking around down there really fun, however the poking is necessary since I can't get pregnant until AFTER my X-rays). Women are not supposed to have dangly bits dammit.
I also shave/trim most of the time and I have found that as it grows back now I no longer itch at all. Not too long ago I invested a tiny amount of money in one of those little tiny shavers they advertised on TV - that has the little eyebrow thing & my parter & I both have found that to be quick, painless & very affective - whether she is doing the shaving or I am.

RIP Plaidman - you are loved & greatly missed.
i blame my german/welsh heritage. thick, dark hair exactly where i don't want it.
My father's family has French and German roots. I have more hair on my body than my mother and all three of her sisters combined.
