I'm doing school online this semester due to my life currently demanding extreme flexibility. My Calculus course requires, officially, the purchase of a textbook that comes with an access code for MyMathLab.com. According to my instructor, I don't even need the print book, just the online access, because the entire course content including the textbook, is available online through that site.
My big question for anyone who's ever used that website is, did I understand my instructor right? Is that really a whole online-classroom environment, with the homework, lecture materials, quizzes and everything? Is it possible to learn the material from the site, without having a print copy of the textbook in your lap? Would you go insane if you had to use the site, with no print copy of the book, on a 10" netbook screen?
Or would it be smarter to suck it up, pay the extra $8, and get a print copy of the book also? I know, I'm whining about all of eight bucks, but you know how it is, that's $8 I could spend on silly things like food and rent!

) Figured it was some 'Breaking Bad' tie-in game.
Yes. That's the first thing I thought of actually.
