Hi, I found this site through Jennie Breeden's comic, the Devil's Panties, under the "Customers Suck!" link. I laughed my butt off from some of the comic she created based on the stories on here, so I thought I'd check out the forums. I found many more funny stories, so I thought I'd share my few.

I've worked in either customer support or retail in some way, shape or form for the last 10 years. First as a register jockey in high school, and then IT support in the Air Force for 4 years, and then retail again for a company that recently went under. I've got a couple of funny stories that can be easily understood by people outside the IT world, and I'll share them soon.

I gotta know, what are the rules for content on this site? I couldn't find any, so I ask. I checked the FAQ, and went through all the forum listings, and I couldn't find anything.

So, I ask a few things; can I swear? If so, what's the extent? How vulgar can I get in my stories? Should I use the NSFW guidelines for this site?

      Any help would be useful.

Rule #1: Do not drink anything while reading CS. (Especially Gravekeeper threads!)

Trust me it'll save your computer!

The rules are posted in the Site News section, which you should visit often. You can find the rules here. Your questions should be answered in there. If you still have questions, PM a MOD or Admin. They can clear up anything that your unsure of.

Generally speaking, we're a venting site, so harsh language happens. However, we prefer that posters don't use it as punctuation, and encourage some sort of imagination in their terminology. If someone goes over the top in use of foul language, we'll have a quiet word in most cases.

There are a couple of words we don't accept at all mentioned in there. If you're reporting what a customer has actually said by quoting them then they're fine, but common sense and PMing a moderator if unsure should get you through
