Yes, I know, I watched it 2 weeks ago. I think you're being too literal. Gonna comb the desert next?

I can understand the confusion with the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. That kind of dreck is usually reserved for terrible straight-to-DVD releases.

That kind of dreck needs to be reserved for families who are unable to afford toilet paper.

          Oh, the headache returns...

I don't know how many times I've had to explain to a customer that just because the trailer for a movie appears on a video, it doesn't mean that the movie is available for rent yet.

Several times I had to take the rented movie and play it on the store's TV to show them the "Coming Soon to a Theatre Near You" before the trailer, or the "In Theatres xx/xx/xxxx (date three months in the future)" at the end of the ad.

Then a few of them would complain as to why a company that makes movies would advertise them when they are not out yet...

In my own defense, some of us make the mistake of trusting our children when they swear up and down that The Squeekual is out on DVD and trudge off to the video store to find it. I don't watch the commercials, so it didn't click that it was a theater-movie and not a rental-movie.

Not to worry, I got them back the next time we went to the farmers market and I sent them to ask the lady at the fruit stand if she had any road apples for sale.

I certainly hope you're referring to using the script... I can't imagine using a movie to wipe with... must hurt...

Speaking of which, the movie has been in theaters a few days now and I'm still getting asked for it.
