Smells that give you a headache... in my case it's new carpeting.
Probably the formaldehyde. It's the same as that "new car scent". Just formaldehyde. You know. Embalming fluid. Dunno if the textile companies still use it, though. I had all the carpet ripped up. The carpet in the jeep is next.

I'm allergic to mold spores (fever, migraine), carpeting (migraine, lungs threatening to shut down), Tide (skin irritation), sugar (diabetic), bell peppers (nausea) and carbohydrates (lethargic, nausea, migraine, mood swings, the world starts spinning, glucose levels spike then plummet).

Yeah, you see that right. Pink. Harness.

Ah yes, the "new car smell." I got to deal with complaints about that back when I was dealing with car complaints around 1980 for a government agency (NHTSA). The "new car smell" is due to a phenomenon called outgassing that happens to all the plastics used in cars. There were many people that had allergic reations to the outgassing products, and plenty of complaints. The only recommendation we had for those people was to buy older cars that no longer outgassed.

A Google search on "outgassing cars" provided some informative links.
