50% off employee meals at the elderly restaurant

No discount whatsoever at the grocery store

10% employee discount at young lady's store

50% off employee meals at the "Honkey Tonk" truck stop

Free food and pop at the gas station. One big plus was if I had to go above and beyond job expectations (aka, when people started calling in sick on a daily basis and it was getting ridiculous), my manager would store credit me one free pack of smokes per shift (not EVERY time I came in, because it was my job, but for ridiculous coworkers who abused their privilege of calling in). I got 4 free packs of smokes when Little Miss "I can't find a babysitter!" pulled her last stunt and I had to work several doubles to cover for her after she refused to show up.

At the factory.......paid vacation which is acrued every pay period (I think 2 hrs a pay period or so), you can use your paid vacation however you wish (as long as you pre-approve the days off with your supervisor or manager) so basically you get days off WITH pay health dental and eye insurance, up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement per year......factory shut down on major holidays, PAID holidays.....

I get 20% off all my purchases plus 3 free movie/game rentals at a time. Meaning when I get done with the 3 I have now I just trade them in for 3 more- yes, they can be pre-streets (not yet released titles).

After three months (which the waiting period can be waived by supervisors) we get free gym membership and 50% discount off the reduced member price for programs. It is for the employee and their parents (if they live at home) OR room-mate OR husband/wife/live-in/significant other AND employees children under 24 who live with them and attend school full time.

At my job, we get a 10% discount off everything. It used to be you had to spend $5 to get the discount, but not anymore.

We also have special "teammate appreciation events" where we get an additional 10% off everything, with some exceptions. These events used to be a lot more elaborate than they are now, with refeshments in the break room for you to stop by and nosh on, drawings for prizes such as a free day of vacation or a gift card, and a coupon book where you had to tear out the coupon and you could only get a discount on selected items. Later they got rid of the coupons and everything else, and just applied the discount to everything.

Most of the time these events fall on weekends when we get paid, but sometimes they don't. We usually have 2 of these events in the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We 50% when working more than 5.30 hours or after our shift if we work less. 20% when not working but no discounts on dessarts of juices. But we get free pop. Sometimes when an orders made wrong or someone's card can't go through (we're really fast sometimes we can do an order by the time they pay) we keep it in the back for everyone to nosh on ^^.

I get 20% off softlines and 10% off hardlines where I work, plus a discount at the other store owned by the same company.

Also, I work in pricing so sometimes I can get things dirt freakin' cheap because we occasionally have to hunt things down in the stockrooms or salesfloor that have been in there for months and months (years maybe) and are going to 80 and 90 percent off. So I consider that a major perk/discount of my job too.

I get free food. And my friends get free sodas and fries if they buy a burger, says my boss.

If we're including benefits at work... 100% match on the 401k up to six percent. Maybe even better: we're immediately 100% vested. It makes saving for retirement almost fun.

No discount at the grocery store (booooooooooooo...they get some of their money back from my check anyway...) but we do occasionally get $20 gift cards, which is nice.

At Goodwill, 20% discount. Sweet. Even though I was fired, and eventually moved away, when I'd go in, if someone who knew me was working, I'd get good discounts.

At the two previous gas stations (same owner for both), we didn't get any kind of discount
Not completely true. Marginal discount on sodas and crapaccinos. At least at the first one, anyway.

At Aero, we got 30% off whatever the promotional price was at the moment. Once a month, we'd get 50% off 2 tops, 2 bottoms and 2 accessories. Then they started doing outfits with every floorset, it was usually a top, bottom and 2 accessories for between $20-$25.

My old boss still gives me the 30% discount whenever I go in and buy stuff... too bad shes moving in July though

we get stacks of stuff - mostly discounts on company owned resturants and affiliated properties. we are opening a casino in macau tomorrow and i'm going in 2 months.. and paying 1/2 the nightly rate
The mere fact that we have the flamethrower means that someone, somewhere once said "You know, I'd really like to set those customers over there on fire, but don't possess the means to do it"

Free tokens for non-merchandising, non-ticket dispensing games. Or, by the exact quote, "No game that dispenses anything of real value."
Trivia of the day: back when that the free tokens were established, they didn't mention that last part*. And they carried M:TG cards. And I'm good at timing games.

Anyone want to buy a M:TG collection, mostly Fallen Empires to 6th edition?

                                * I think they were so interested in cutting off the much-abused "free video games on weekdays" that they didn't think of the fact that it might cost them an extra few bucks per week if they allowed employees to play merchandisers/ticket-spitters. Anyway, I did the whole thing in good faith-- as far as we knew, letting you play games with prizes was the "makeup" for not allowing unlimited play any more.
