"Nothing in my Way" and "Bad Dream"-Keene
    "Drive"-The Cars
"You Are the Girl"-The Cars, again
"I Kill Children"-Dead Kennedys (There must be something officially very wrong with me because that is my favorite DK song. 'God told me to skin you alive......')
That Bob Dylan song where he says "Everybody must get stoned"

That one pops into my head whenever I'm feeling frustrated at people.

A lot of stuff by Faith No More, Green Day, The Who, Annie Lennox, snippets of Chopin, B-52s, songs from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, All American Rejects, and Foo Fighters. Mostly. Never know what will pop into my head.

I can't listen to music at work anymore, and I bus to work, so I seldom listen to the radio on the way (I can listen through my cell phone), so I have to have my internal soundtrack.

This song was the one that most people know by Eagle Eye Daddy... the name escapes me, something like Save tonight?

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Fight Like a Brave

            Faith No More- Epic

            Oasis - Roll With It

Oasis - Up in the Sky

            Flaming Lips - Haven't Got a Clue

And for some reason I get the world's most annoying song stuck in my head, "I'm too sexy for my shirt."

            I loathe that song.

Lately I've been keeping track of songs that randomly pop into my head while I'm at work.
What a great idea. I've got a little notepad I scribble on anyway, I'm going to keep track for a while. This thread'll be too old by then to post them, but I'll amuse myself

I don't know why these particular songs jumped into my head. It just happens. Anyone else have this happen to them during their work day?
Sometimes it's a piece I overhear, sometimes a written or spoken word that is in a song, sometimes it's.... well, my wife calls them the (ear) worms. If the worms have inflicted a particularly dreadful or irritating song on me (or us - did I mention I often whistle them? Badly? ) she threatens them with "a Q-tipping."

Er...I sometimes sing 'The Old Dun Cow' and 'Swing a Cat' to myself. And, rarely, the bass part for 'Blue Moon.'

For me, it's either a random song or a song I've listened to recently. Last Wednesday, I was entertained first with Deuce by Kiss then Zera's song from Simba's Pride. XD

Every once in a while, the song that is stuck in my head is something that I haven't heard in days, weeks, months, and/or even years. True.

What's worse is when I'll have a song that I hate so much that the thought of it gives me dry heaves stuck in my head.
                          I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

Case in point with me. For some reason I have "Stacy's Mom" stuck in my head, and have for WEEKS. I haven't even seen any hot middle-aged women lately, nor have I even heard the name Stacy referenced.

KISS-Thrills in the Night...has been stuck in my head for EONS. I have no idea why.

"Sandy" from Grease (I work with a girl named Sandy, and it always pops in my head when I see her. Of course I tease her about it. )

"Jungle Love"- Morris Day and the Time (One of the manager's names is Morris, so yeah...)

                                "Breakin' the Law"-Judas Priest

                                "Unchained"-Van Halen

And another one for "Epic"-Faith No More!
"I'm not even supposed to be here today!" Dante-"Clerks"
