Two things I'm going to end up trying this year:
Pumpkin creme brulee and pumpkin mead. We have some beautiful local honey from a ranch about 30 miles outside of town, an some vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks. So, the boyfriend does homebrewing, we're going to lay down a batch of pumpkin MEAD. Can't WAIT.

Now there's a mental image. Although, if you're jusing pumpkins for pasties (long a), I can only say, I'm jealous!
