I'm guilty of the PJ's during the day thing.

I have been seen at the Wal-Mart... dressed in Guinness sleep pants and a black t-shirt with flip-flops on my feet.
I understand completely I only have two but with both at two months old some days I have a hard time feeding myself let alone getting dressed. Though it sounds like you do what I do. Wear clothes that are pjs but kinda look like you could go out in them.

It was a few years ago, but I seem to remember it being around 10, with winds of 60 MPH or so. Not coat-free weather, at any rate. And I used to do carry-outs and crap like that without a coat on too. Heck, I still won't wear a coat until it's around 20 or so. Until then a thick hoodie does just fine.
the winds are what'll get you. I haven't even had to find my real coat yet i just got a carhartt hoodie

it's not limited to kids; there's a rash of those who think sleepwear is appropriate in public: at school, in stores, etc.
I passed a girl one day, waiting for her school bus (she was high school age), wearing, plaid pajama pants, a fleece sweatshirt, what appeared to be slippers (coulda been Ugg booties, I guess), and instead of a coat (it was below freezing outside), she had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.

I've seen little kids without shoes on in the bookstore, but usually they are being carried or riding in a stroller. Sometimes they are seen eating the shoes... I've also seen little ones in their jammies, but it's usually been in the evening - before the point at which I start saying, "Why aren't they home in bed?"; they often were heading home for teeth brushing and storytime. Little ones shopping in jammies at 8pm are cute...adults, not so much...

My husband thinks there is. When I'm literally bouncing off the walls, my hands are shaking and I'm talking faster than my normal 85 miles per hour. He hates it when he has to keep up with me. XD
