I guess I'm in the minority here. I can understand why the guy was pissed, but to say (yell) THOSE words in a crowded parking lot where kids might be?

    Sorry, wrong.

I am far from a prude and I'm not easily offended by language, but when there are kids around, I try to watch my mouth.

Seriously, I think we've all probably been nearly sideswiped by idiots in parking lots going too fast, and I'd be the first one to yell 'Idiot, watch where you're going'. But I do think the guy was wrong to use those kinds of words, and that loudly, where everyone was in earshot.

    Just my 2 cents.

Peppergirl - that's a reason I wrote up this "earing" I make myself laugh. Ahem.

There were kids around. Some teens, but some younger.

I always try to use the crosswalk when I can. I actually get more idiot drivers either honking at me, gunning their motors at me, or trying to run me over in the crosswalk than I do when I "jaywalk" in the parking lot.

I'll grant that jaywalking made it closer to 50/50 in my book (though jaywalking in a parking lot isn't so bad, in my book, if you watch where you're going). I still say the driver had equal parts suckage, though.

However, I'll gladly concede the point that he shouldn't be screaming those words in a place where there are kids present. For shame!
