Best Buy matched their online prices for me once. The Heroes season one HDDVD was listed on their site for 99.99. Usually the online prices are the same as the in store prices, but this time it rang up for 119.99. I mentioned the online price to the clerk, he looked it up, and price matched it for me.

On the subject of price matching, had a guy call a couple of weeks ago asking if we price matched our BBQ grills. I told him that we sell our grills for the MINIMUM price that the grill company would allow us to, so we do not price match. He replied that he found it at Home Depot for cheaper. I told him fine, go buy it there then. Told the owner, he said thats exactly what he would have said. One of the reasons I love my bosses.

I like my company's price match "why sure we'll price match hotels.com, all you have to do is book online and submit a price match form within 24 hours, once we have verified the rate we will adjust the rate on your reservation plus 10% extra off, then we will also adjust the cancellation policy to match the website it was matched from" (and none of those websites with lower rates allow any cancellations or changes to the reservation)... most people shut up and pay the higher rate so they can still cancel or change their reservation.
