Dude me too! And at our fair it's only those from like ten to 15 who ride them. Maybe something just happens when one reaches that magical unknown age.

I used to love rides like that when I was a kid, but I started getting horrible motion sickness when I was about 16. I can't even look at them anymore.

There's one at the beach, ride next to a log flume ride, where you're almost guaranteed to get wet. My son sometimes goes on the other ride afterwards to "spin dry."

I HATE that ride. I've seen different names for it, but they all spell the same thing to me: pukey death.
In my life I have only thrown up after riding one ride. Care to take a stab at which one it was?

    Seriously, though. Worst. Ride. EVER!

That woman should be Nancy Kerrigan'd for her stupidity.

    Dumb Mother

I was at the state fair last year with my friends. They wanted to ride Starship 2000, a spinning in circles ride.

I realize that most of you do not know what Starship 2000 is. I'll try to draw it.

Ok, so that's sorta what it looks like. When you get in it, you lean back on a slanted cot-like thing. Nothing holds you down except centrifugal force.

Now I hate those rides, so I opted to stand and hold all the cell phones, money, etc.

As I was talking to the ride operator, a friend of mine, a lady with a baby came up, a baby that could not be barely over a year old.

Me: girl who gets sick on spinny rides
J: my friend the ride operator
DM: dumbest mother I have ever seen (so far....)

DM: I gots a question for ya.
    J: Yes?
DM: Can I take my baby on this ride.
    DM and Me -
    J: Erm, no.
    DM: Well why not?
J: Because it goes in circles really, really fast. That's not good for a baby.
DM: Well then what rides can I take him on. I paid alot of money to get in here and I want to ride something
J: Lady, I don't think there are any rides at the fair that you can take your baby on.
DM: Well I just wasted my money didn't I?!? walks away
Me: What the hell? Why did she think she could take a one year old on this ride?
    DM: I have no clue.

Seriously lady, what the hell were you thinking? You can't take an infant on a spinning in circles ride.
