It was real, but it's not a "dress suit" that the guy bought. If I remember exactly, the whole outfit was a pair of unionbay (least I think that's who made them) micro fiber pants, a unionbay shirt, and then the vest. I think, and I could be way off here, but it was a Fubu vest.

Did some digging, and while not exact, here's pretty much what he chose.

Vest: http://www.mincers.com/uploads/ecomm...uct/0963md.jpg (Yeah, I know that's a jacket. just picture it without sleeves)
        Shirt: http://images.storm.co.kr/productima...nge_W_Jade.jpg (except a men's shirt)

Any cop seeing that outfit and mistaking him for an escaped prisoner is due for an eye exam. Which leads me to the incredible coincidence of this dude looking like the escaped prisoner. Quite the unlucky chap, to be dressed like that when his double's on the lamb.

                      Couple questions:

                      1. Did you ever find out what happened to the cop? I mean, that was pretty moronic on an epic level.

                      2. Was the buyer black or at least of darker skin tone? I've noticed that the more interesting colors (orange, lime, purple) all look good on blacks but just horrible on pasty white kids like me.

Especially in repsac's state, which is where I assume this happened, because I am pretty sure the DOC there issues white uniforms with dark trim. http://www.pxdirect.com/inmate_u.htm
Even if they don't, the only thing the outfit repsac linked to, and the standard issue prison uniform have in common is colour.

Also, is a taser charge enough to melt one's shirt to the chest?

Is that why people have died from taser charges? (Don't wish to have this turn into a discussion of the use of tasers. Just curious to see if that guy was pulling your leg.)

Ree: I think it may be an urban myth, or real fact, I'm not sure.

When my mother was captain in the air cadets, she told us a story about the color of Yum Yum Orange.

Apparently, pilots' parachutes were made of this INCREDIBLY BRIGHT HORRIBLE orange, so that if they were lost at sea or somewhere they could be seen easily.

Unfortunately, this shade of orange was found to attract sharks.

OK...that's shocking, sad and funny all at the same time.
Does that make me a sick person?
