So I went to Lowe's to return something today--still in the package, hadn't opened it, just wanted to exchange it because it was the wrong color. Had my receipt in my hand as well. I walk into the little return area and wait, as Idiot Boy (as I have dubbed the returns cashier) is doing someone else's return, which happens to be two large pieces of wood on a cart.
He finishes, wood guy leaves, Idiot Boy looks straight at me, says, "Hold on, let me get these out of the way." As he's pushing the wood aside, another man walks up on down the counter, waiting in line behind me. So what does Idiot Boy do when he's done with the wood? Looks at me, then walks down the counter and asks the man behind me, "How can I help you?"
And the other guy, who is a wonderful human being, replied in the best you're-fucking-stupid voice possible, "Uh, little slow today? You can start by helping the girl that was in front of me."
