Fish are WHAT?

We just took my daughter fishing for a week. The first day she went out with my parents. She helped my dad reel the fish in, and then when the fish was in the boat...... *poof* she was at the farthest point she could get away from the fish.

She went out the rest of the week with me, and I did get her to pet the fish. Kinda backfired on me though, she'd get mad if I threw a fish back and didn't let her pet it.

They have Japanese spider crabs there with bodies the size of basketballs and legs as long as a garden rake.

I don't like 'em. They are VERY alien. But the seahorse exhibit a couple of years ago was cool.

Would the sight of a lobster give her nightmares for years and warp her view of the world?

I onced dreamed that lobsters were climbing onto my bed and attacking me.

..maybe that's why I don't like seafood. >_>

A fish in the right hands can be scary indeed. And good for slappin'.

You want a scary fish, try fugu. Prepared incorrectly, it can kill you.

Which gives me a fantastic idea for a sign:

"Carefully prepare your fugu
Or end up in deep doo-doo"

Well, no sense carping about it. :-)

Why not? It sounded fishy to me!
