Well, Smiley, you just guaranteed that I'd never go to Salt Lake City. I love Jack.

    But Houston still sucks.
yes, it sucks that we don't have Jack... But places like Astro, Apollo, Crown, and 5 Guys Burgers and Fries more than make up for it... besides, if you are really addicted to Jack it's only 3 hours to Pocatello...could go up there have your Jack and then become a failure in life buying lotto tickets

Their milkshakes are GOD. Ahead of Backyard Burgers and Sonic - about the same as Steak'n'Shake. Massive burgers, too.

I miss Cracker Barrel like CRAZY. There just aren't any good 'homecookin' restaurants around here. I would almost kill for some catfish - fried or grilled. Real cornbread and buttermilk biscuits.... *sigh* I just looked, closest one is 30 miles away....
If you're anywhere near Wichita they (did, anyway) have a small family chain called Kings-X. Of course, I haven't been back in *mumble-muimble* years, so they could have gone under, or just started sucking, but they used to be pretty good.

There's also a diner in Wichita that was reviewed by Guy Fieri on 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives', and it impressed him. I do not, however, recall the name.

          Actually, it's a sighting if it isn't a customer of yours/co-worker's/manager's/etc.

Actually, now I hear it's going to be an A&W/Taco Bell going up in town.

            Double

This does kinda make sense because the Taco Bell in town is an older one and well off the Interstate.

I have an A&W a couple of blocks away. And that's just the closest one.

              There's a few Culver's scattered around, too.

I never saw an A&W while I was living in NJ...or Culver's either, for that matter.

BTW, I think Culver's has better root beer.

Maybe it's time to call their 1-800 number? There's no excuse for that kind of treatment. I'm not a fan of escalating but if no one says anything, the behavior isn't going to be corrected. It still might not be but there's a chance.

I'd say it's probably particularly important in the Wendy's case, considering the offender was management.
Agreed. Corporate can't correct the problem if they don't know there is one. And they don't want to lose money due to incompetent / uncaring employees. Having been on that side of the counter, I usually sympathise with the employee, but if they start out being a jerk, my sympathy stops.

I know working in fast food can be aggrivating, but that doesn't give anybody the right to be an arsehole towards other people, whether customers or employees. Be the change you want to see in the world.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

I've got a combo KFC/A&W just down the street in a giant retail park. It's good... I <3 it so, but the roommate doesn't like it at all...

So I go there while he's at work! ^_^

oh good, maybe another reason to go out that direction every once in a while... on top of having every imaginable store on the planet right next to each other.
