  • I'd give you three guesses...

but you'll only need one to guess what the thread is about...

if you guessed more UTA sightings, you're right

let's start with the BIG sighting

    Quoth Mr. John Inglish
We do not anticipate there being any complaints about the fare increase
Uhuh, just like no one complained about the last 3 times the fares went up...

Oh and I saw a special stupid at Meadowbrook today... I got off the train, walked to the 39 pick up point... anyway, I saw someone who got off the train with me also walk over to the bus... when he boarded he paid a cash fare... which means one of two things, either he didn't realize that he could use his TRAX ticket as a transfer or he never paid for trax... I'm not sure which is more stupid... spending $4.50 when all you had to pay was $2.25, or risking getting caught without a ticket on trax ($125 fine) when you know you'll have to pay for the bus anyway.

Hippie, UTA is actually a pretty good system... but like all public transit you will find wackos galore... that said, considering how much I use the system I'm surprised I have so few sightings, considering I had "sightings" when I used to use the CVTD system and the RTCW system...

eta- PRB is proving that UTA is NOT the worst system... just finished reading his sighting and holy shit... make me glad I don't use the bus up there.

Yeah, I use UTA a little further down the valley. I never have issues with the system, really.

It makes me glad I don't live in SLC though.

My favorite is the Furious Bus Driver who swears at other cars a lot. He makes me laugh so much!
If there’s one thing women love, it’s the guy that just can’t seem to find the line that divides “Ha Ha” and “Stacey, get your purse, we’re leaving before he comes back.”.

I think it has to do more with the time of day I use the system than the part of the city (ok, so part of the city has part to do with it)... I'm almost never traveling during rush hour when you have all the business people etc going to work... I'm traveling to 9 or 11am classes, I'm going to a matinee movie, or an afternoon downtown, or a late night to work... those are the times of day (night) when the wackos come out...

and you know what's funny... for some reason I though you lived in Europe
