EQ showed me a pic of Lupo today, and I have to say, she and Lupo look nothing alike. I will not comment further, as I still don't think there's a right answer to that question.
then I still say you're a smart man, Broomjockey... A smart man, indeed.

The inflated version of EQ came from a conversation during Game night on Friday. I was detailing how my A/C had FINALLY gotten fixed, and the maintenance guy kept reminding me he was the one who fixed my window and replaced my locks when my apartment was broken into and didn't I remember him?

Um, no. I told him that was my friend, (EQ). I shared this conversation with EQ and it went something like this.

Me: So, yeah, I kept telling him that it was you, my friend, and not me, who was there that night, and then he finally caught on.
EQ: Oh, good. Cuz he was probably thinking, "wow, that chick REALLY blew up or got inflated in just a few months!"
    Me: ... ... Thanks, EQ...

<Cue hysterical laughter from everyone else present>

Ok, Lupo it's your story, I'll let you tell it.

ETA: I posted that before I read the two above me, so sorry!

And no Broom it's not a happy story. But it was still hilarious when the conversation took place!

I think the hysterical laughter stemmed from a few things:

          1. EQ's tendency to blurt out random things without realizing some of the connotations.
          2. EQ had been given liquor
          3. The look on my face. I apparently have very expressive facial reactions when things surprise me.

I'm able to laugh it off because I know it wasn't meant in an insulting way. Plus, bonus points, I get to tease EQ and randomly ask her why she's calling me fat all of a sudden, and then see her try to stutter through an explanation/justification/denial of her aforementioned comments.

That and it gives you an excuse to poke fun at her shortness!

And yes I'm betting the liquor had a role in it as well.

What happens when we give you liquor?

Darn. I was hoping we could get Lupo singing showtunes or something equally awesome.

I'm sure we could. Though I think it'll take a lot of liquor. Guess we better get started.

Eh, it's not fun if I'm not there to see first hand. I might actually drink, myself, if I was there.

I'm more than old enough. In fact, I think I'm older than all you hosers.

How old's Lupo? I think she's the oldest of you 3.

I am the oldest, actually of the 3 of us.

and for the record. I have a fairly high alcohol tolerance and make a hard and fast rule of never getting drunk enough to do something like sing show tunes. When I'm tipsy, I tend to sing along with random songs enough as it is. And the one time I got REALLY drunk?

Oh, so not revisiting that memory...

So, Broom, how old are you....?
